Gala Charity Event Supports Foundation

Ladies 4 Networking to raise funds and awareness for Town’s charity

Ladies 4 Networking is holding a gala charity evening from 6pm at the Vinery hair salon, Highfields, Huddersfield which will raise funds and awareness for the Town Foundation.

The free to attend event on 26 June is showcasing beauty and fashion businesses run by Yorkshire’s female entrepreneurs. Organised by Ladies 4 Networking, a group set up to unite business across the county, a raffle will be held with all the proceeds being donated to the Town Foundation.

Organiser of the event and Ladies 4 Networking Director Marina Simoli commented:

“Three of the women will be standing out from the crowd, when they arrive at the function sporting a stunning new look – as the winners of a makeover competition held in the run-up to the big night.

“Women can bid to win this stylish prize by making their case in writing to judges Stephanie Roper, the Wardrobe Angel, and Laura Smith of Manor Drive Preloved Clothing, Barkisland, near Halifax. Then the winners will spend a day being pampered, first at the Alexander Spa in Huddersfield for a foot soak and massage, then on to the Vinery, for a full makeover including treats like a restyle, colour, make-up session and fashion consultation, before the big night.

“I feel that we need to give some support to the smaller charities in the region and this particular charity helps support our children in the region. It’s about making a difference to disadvantaged kids and offering children the opportunity to reach their full potential though local projects and initiatives. A little can go a long way.”

The Foundation’s Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor echoed Simoli’s comments:

“On behalf of the Charity I would like to thank Marina, everyone at Ladies 4 Networking and the Vinery for helping raise money and the profile of the Foundation. I feel certain that this complimentary event will be incredibly well attended and urge any ladies who may be interested in either entering the make-over competition before the closing date of 20th June or indeed wish to reserve a place to email Marina: marina@ladies4networking.com.

“The money will be used to help us fund our on-going Breakfast Club projects, and numerous initiatives we have planned moving forward”

The overall aim of the Huddersfield Town Foundation is simple – to help improve the quality of life for young people across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area.
