The sky will be the limit for the Town Foundation later this year when the charity embarks upon a fundraising skydive!

On Sunday 28 July, a team of daredevil fundraisers will be heading to Brigg Airfield, based at Hibaldstow, North Lincolnshire to partake in an adrenaline-fuelled tandem skydive – free-falling from 15,000ft, travelling at 120 mph, safely strapped to the front of a fully qualified instructor.

The Town Foundation’s Corporate Fundraising Officer Mandy Taylor is looking to recruit Town fans to jump alongside the likes of Town’s Goalkeeping Coach Paul Crichton and commented:

“A skydive is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many people and you can now combine it with our fundraising for the Town Foundation – meaning your jump will genuinely make a difference to your community!

“As you will be strapped to an expert there is no need for any prior knowledge. All you have to do is raise funds in advance and turn up on the day – it couldn’t be simpler!

“Hopefully we can recruit a willing army of Town supporters to come along in July and get involved in a great day for a very worthwhile cause.”

How much do I have to fundraise?

In order to take part and effectively jump for free for The Town Foundation, all we ask is for an absolute minimum amount of £400 in sponsorship money.

This amount covers the cost of the Tandem jump which is £200 paid to Target Skysports and a minimum donation of £200 that will directly benefit the charity.

Cheques are payable to The Huddersfield Town Foundation Ltd (please note that this amount will be deducted from the total amount of sponsorship you have to raise)
