Providing accessible sporting opportunities and pathways for our local community.

Extra Curricular Activity

Our Sports Department is focused on building sporting links with local schools.

Through the motivational power of sport, and in particular football, we aim to develop childrens’ personal skills; improve their academic achievement; build self-esteem; and encourage healthy lifestyles.

As a Foundation, we are proud to offer quality sports provisions to a network of schools throughout the calendar year. These are delivered by our FA qualified coaching staff who not only act as coaches, but also positive role models for young participants.

Grassroots Clubs

At The Huddersfield Town Foundation, we strive to forge links with local grass roots clubs by offering opportunities such as matchday experience, coach CPD and professionally organised tournaments.

Matchday Experience

The Huddersfield Town Foundation’s Matchday Experience offers a day to remember for schools, community groups and football teams. Whether you are looking to celebrate success; motivate your participants; top up your skills or just have a momentous day out, our new and exciting package consists of fun, high level sports sessions at our Leeds Road Sports Complex, coupled with a packed lunch and a ticket for a Premier League game.

Our sports sessions are skills based and are delivered by our FA qualified coaches who will work with your team manager, teacher or group leader to identify areas for development, whether it be attacking; defending; shape, teamwork, teambuilding or something more bespoke. After the session, your group will soak up the pre-match atmosphere down at our John Smith’s Stadium before taking to their seats to watch the Terriers compete in Premier League action.

Prices start from just £15.00 per person. Please contact us for more information and to book.
