Academy Sport Igloo Tops

Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 players will wear training tops featuring the logo of club partner Igloo Books throughout the 2013/14 season as part of a wider partnership between the two organisations.

The Club’s Academy scholars are pictured above wearing the PUMA training tops in front of the Igloo Books banner at Town’s Canalside training complex.

Igloo Books is entering its second season as official book partner to Huddersfield Town following on from a successful inaugural year of partnership between the two organisations, which saw the organisations join to provide free reading diaries to local schools via the Town Foundation (click HERE) as well as give away free books to children under the age of 10 at a Town game to celebrate World Book Day (click HERE).

Huddersfield Town’s Academy Manager Mark Lillis thanked Igloo for its support:

“It’s fantastic that the Club can be associated with Igloo Books and the Academy players will be proud to wear their logo throughout the course of the season.

“Anything we can do as a Club to highlight their positive work promoting literacy in youngsters throughout the country can only be a good thing. I know they have been one of the biggest supporters of the Town Foundation’s work with schools in this area and we’re proud to be a part of it.”

John Styring added:

“Igloo Books is delighted to renew and grow its partnership with Huddersfield Town. It gives us great pleasure to work with Huddersfield Town and the Kirklees schools to promote and encourage reading in schools and at home.

“With technology ever prevalent in our lives and many more ways to read a book available, there is something very special about reading an exciting or heart-warming story or learning more about the world around us through reading.

“We are very pleased to support HTAFC and the great work they do in the local community particularly through the Huddersfield Town Foundation.”

Igloo Books is a multi-award winning, top 10 children’s and adult publishing company that has been successfully trading in over 50 countries for almost 10 years.  It is the fastest growing publishing company in the UK.
