Local Kids Walk With Dinosaurs!

On Sunday 26th January Fruitypot invited along sixty children from the local Town Foundation Breakfast club at Dalton Junior and Infant School, as well as five families who won tickets through the Examiner Twitter competition, to attend an exclusive screening of Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D movie at the Huddersfield Odeon.

As a partner and supplier to the Town Foundation, Fruitypot invited children from the Early Kick Off Breakfast Club at Dalton Junior and Infant School to the event. The ‘Early Kick Off’ scheme is the first initiative launched by the Foundation which ensures that young people of Huddersfield and the wider community start their day in the right way – with a nutritious breakfast.

Attendees of the private screening were treated to a free ticket, popcorn and even some Fruitypot goody bags.

Sarah Booth, Managing Director of Fruitypot said: “We wanted to take advantage of our partnership with Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie, and we thought what better way than giving people from the local community a chance to get together and enjoy the film! The screening was a great success with around 140 attendees.”

Mandy Taylor, Corporate Fundraising Office at the Huddersfield Town Foundation commented: “We are extremely grateful to Fruitypot for giving children from the Dalton Early Kick Off Breakfast Club the opportunity to attend the Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie screening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and it reaffirms what fantastic a partner Fruitypot is to the Town Foundation!”Â
