Mandy Taylor Set To Depart The Town Foundation

Huddersfield Town and the Town Foundation would like to thank Mandy Taylor, who will depart the role of the charity’s Fundraising Manager this month.

Huddersfield born and bred, Mandy joined the charity in November 2012 and has played a key role in the development and implementation of Huddersfield Town Foundation’s fundraising activities.

During her three and a half year tenure, the charity’s pinnacle ‘Early Kick-Off’ breakfast club project has served over 425,000 healthy and nutritious meals to local children across 18 clubs in the region, ensuring young people get to start their learning day in the right way.

In her role, Mandy has also helped to secure over half a million pounds in funding for the charity’s work within the community.

Huddersfield Town Chairman and Town Foundation founder Dean Hoyle commented:

“I’d like to thank Mandy for all her hard work and dedication on behalf of the charity.

“As everyone knows, the Town Foundation’s work is close to my heart and Mandy deserves a lot of praise for establishing this new charity at the centre of our local community through its amazing work with children on a daily basis.

“We’d all like to wish Mandy the best in her future endeavours; she will always be a friend to the Club.”

Mandy added:

“It has been an honour to play an instrumental part in the development of such an incredible charity, which truly does have children at heart.

“From skydiving to the Three Peaks Challenge, I have always thrown my heart and soul into everything we have done and sincerely thank my assistant Julie, each and every donor, supporter and volunteer for all they have done but most especially Dean for allowing me to enjoy some outstanding memories.

“I will always continue to support the charity in any way I can and urge others to do so too.”
