Rosenbauer Uk Wins 2016 ‘it’s A Knockout’!

A day of fun in the sun at PPG Canalside on Friday ended with the team from Rosenbauer UK winning the 2016 ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition held by the Town Foundation!

Hosted by Keith Chegwin, 12 teams from different businesses made their way to Town’s PPG Canalside complex to take part in a day involving inflatables, assault courses and a lot of water!

Town Foundation Trustee Sean Jarvis acted as the referee on the afternoon as the team from Rosenbauer UK, dressed from head to toe as cheerleaders, triumphed.

An auction of special sporting memorabilia held by Huddersfield Town club partner See It Now Sports is also expected to raise around £700 for the charity.

The event, which was sponsored by Orchard Facilities Management, is expected to raise thousands of pounds for the Town Foundation; the Club’s official registered charity that aims to improve the lives of children and young people in the area.

Julie Sheffield from the Town Foundation explained:

“Thanks to everyone who took part in the Town Foundation’s ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition, in particular our event sponsor Orchard Facilities Management. Without Orchard’s support, holding the event would not have been possible.

“Thanks also to Keith Chegwin and the ‘It’s a Knockout’ team for coming and making the day so memorable for everyone involved.

“I’m sure that everyone who took part had a great time on the day; we’ve had lots of great feedback.

“The support that every business has given through getting their teams sponsored will make a big difference to the charity and the lives of young people in the area.”Â
