STUDENTS GET CREATIVE TO RAISE MONEY FOR TOWN FOUNDATION

Two students from Huddersfield Grammar School used their creativity to raise money to benefit other youngsters in the local area.

The students were given £10 and challenged by their school to get creative by trying to turn it into as much money as possible.

Robbie and Rahul’s idea was to create Hooks that allow the user to keep their Handbag off the floor by hooking it to the edge of a table.

They were able to donate the money raised to Charity with the youngsters opting for the Huddersfield Town Foundation as their chosen recipient.

Their efforts raised an impressive £830 which went to the Town Foundation, in turn helping other youngsters in the local area.

The youngsters (pictured above) attended the Town Foundation’s Ladies Lunch event at the John Smith’s Stadium to showcase and sell their products to those in attendance at the event.

Great work Robbie and Rahul!

Julie Sheffield, Operations and Events Manager at the Huddersfield Town Foundation commented:

“Well done to Robbie and Rahul for coming up with such a great idea and for their generosity choosing the Town Foundation as their chosen Charity.

“It was great to see you at the Ladies Lunch and we’d like to wish you every success for the bright futures I’m sure you will both have.”
