TOP QUALITY COACHING AVAILABLE FOR GIRLS

The Town Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of the brand-new Female Development Centre.

The new Foundation programme will be coached by FA and UEFA Licenced coaches to help girls develop further as a player both on and off the pitch.

Girls will be coached at Leeds Road Sports Complex on Tuesday evenings, starting on Tuesday 4 June 2019 and running for an initial seven-week cycle.

The Female Development Centre is for girls between the age groups of U12 and U14 and will run from 4.45pm to 6pm each week.

Girls will participate in a set programme already designed to aide player development across the FA’s 4-Corner model.

Upon registration they will be given the training schedule and themes of work for the first six weeks and then on the final week of the block it is hoped there will be a fixture to challenge the group around teamwork and understanding of individual responsibilities within a team.

The cost of the seven-week programme is £70 and includes a training kit.

The PDC will not affect participation in anyway with your current club, the programme is simply designed to help create advanced opportunities to help improvement in female footballers.

Upon completion of the seven-week block you will receive a progress report from the coaches (based on the FA’s 4-Corner model) to highlight key areas of improvement and progression.

Huddersfield Town Ladies Manager and Town Foundation Coach, Ashley Vickers, commented:
