TOWN TOMBOLA!

The Huddersfield Town Foundation is facilitating a tombola stall at Huddersfield Town’s annual fireworks event.

Town’s Firework Spectacular returns on Sunday 27 October 2019 at St. Andrew’s Road Car Park of the John Smith’s Stadium with the Huddersfield Town Foundation in attendance.

Guests can enjoy a fun-filled evening with delicious foods, drinks and entertainment from the many vendors and Family Fun Fair rides, including the Huddersfield Town Foundation’s ‘Town Tombola’ stall.

The Huddersfield Town Foundation will be facilitating the traditional tombola, with all proceeds from the stall donated to the Club’s Official Charity.

All funds raised from the tombola will stay within our local community to benefit young people and to continue successfully operating and providing breakfast to hundreds of young children throughout Kirklees.

The Huddersfield Town Foundation is asking fans and supporters for any gifts and contributions they wish to donate to the ‘Town Tombola’.

If you would like to donate any items please drop them into the Huddersfield Town Foundation offices at Leeds Road Sporting Complex, HD2 1YY, between Monday to Friday, 9-5pm by Thursday 24 October.

A ‘Fans for Foodbanks’ collection will also be present at the Firework Spectacular with all items being donated to Batley Foodbank and The Welcome Centre to help those in crisis.

There will be a number of collection points at the Firework Spectacular with collection bins placed on all the entrances to the event.

Donations from Town’s Firework Spectacular will be added to the Huddersfield Town Foundation’s Barnsley ‘Fans for Foodbanks’ collection on Saturday 26 October 2019.

Lisa Bottomley, Huddersfield Town Foundation Fundraising Coordinator, commented:

“It is a great opportunity for the Huddersfield Town Foundation to be involved in such a well-established event.

“The Foundation is urging fans to support the charities initiatives in any way possible, whether this be a tombola prize or ‘Fans for Foodbanks’ donation.

“It is important supporters back the Huddersfield Town Foundation in order for the charity to continue making a positive difference across the Kirklees Community.”
