VACANCY: PRIMARY STARS MANAGER

As the Huddersfield Town Foundation continues to grow and develop, it seeks to appoint a Primary Stars Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Education, in this role you will provide operational responsibility for the development, implementation and success of The Huddersfield Town Foundation’s Premier League Primary Stars project and related projects.

If you are looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work with and support the personal growth and development of young people of primary school age (key stages 1 and 2). This role is a role in which you can truly make a difference to the lives of many young people through sport and physical activity.

The Primary Stars Manager will play a significant role in promoting the programme in schools, also ensuring high-quality delivery of all aspects of the programme through effective management of the project and delivery staff.

The successful candidate must, therefore, have excellent knowledge of the programme and the associated benefits, and be confident in liaising with a range of stakeholders including teachers and young people.

Applicants must have relevant previous experience of working in a sport and/or physical activity environment, familiarity with national curriculum guidelines of KS1 and KS2, and the ability to work effectively with young people.

Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, candidates must have excellent organisational and time-management skills, well-developed communication and people-management skills, and a flexible approach to work.
