A THANK YOU FROM EVERYBODY AT THE TOWN FOUNDATION

The Huddersfield Town Foundation would like to extend its gratitude to supporters far and wide, having received almost £7,000 in donations in the past week alone.

Following the publication of an appeal from Chair of Trustees, Ann Hough last week, the Town Foundation has continued to receive contributions via its text donate service and Just Giving page.

When combined with funds raised from the online shopping platform, Give as You Live and the recently launched #TwoPointSixChallenge, the total comes to £6743.37 including git aid (figure correct as of Monday 27 April).

A special mention must go to the anonymous donor who contributed £500 – the impact of which will go a significant way to helping to sustain the ‘Early Kick-Off’ Breakfast Club initiative and other programmes.

The Foundation would also like to mention the lifelong Town supporter who donated £100 in lieu of the Club’s cancelled Pedal for Pounds cycling event, which was due to take place between Wednesday 22 April and Saturday 25 April. To show appreciation, the gentleman received a phone call from a member of Danny Cowley’s first-team squad.

All funds raised are set to be used in support of the local community in and around Kirklees, through the Town Foundation’s own free to attend activity.

The Foundation also continues its support of the Welcome Centre in Huddersfield and the Batley Food Bank and will work tirelessly to ensure vulnerable people are able to receive the help they need.

Should you wish to donate and have the means to do so, the simplest method is via our text donate service:

To donate £1, text HTF to 70201

To donate £3, text HTF to 70331

To donate £5, text HTF to 70970

To donate £10, text HTF to 70191

For donations greater than £10, head to the Just Giving Page – https://www.justgiving.com/HuddersfieldTownFoundation.

You can also show your support by signing up to Give As You Live, which turns a percentage of your online shopping spend into a donation to the Foundation at no extra cost. It is completely free to register and there are over 4,200 stores to choose from. Click here to find out more.

Once again, a big thank you from everybody at the Town Foundation. Rest assured, we will get through this together. We are ‘One Club, One Community’.
