MULTI-SPORT CAMPS TO RETURN TO LEEDS ROAD SPORTS COMPLEX IN AUGUST!

The Huddersfield Town Foundation is pleased to announce details of its summer multi- sports camps, due to take place in August 2020!

Delivered in line with Government guidelines on social distancing, the holiday camps provide the perfect opportunity for children to return to physical activity.

Our FA qualified coaches will be delivering three multi-sport camps, with the first one starting on Tuesday 11 August 2020.

Each camp will last three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and will run from 9.30am until 3.30pm. There will be no early drop-off or late pick-up.

Participants must be between the ages of five and 11 years old, with the camps taking place at on the 3G pitch at Leeds Road Sports Complex, HD2 1YY.

All bookings and payments should be made in advance, to assist in the organisation of sessions and ensure we are able to correctly meet Health and Safety protocols. No on the day registration or handling of cash will be permitted.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take bookings for single days – each child must book for the whole three days. Again, this is with in health and safety in mind, meaning that the same children and coaching staff will stay in a bubble with each other for the three days.

After the first camp, the subsequent camps will take place from Tuesday 18 August to Thursday 20 August and Tuesday 25 August to Thursday 27 August.

The total price for a three-day camp is £40, with all bookings and payment being taken via Eventbrite.

The Town Foundation would like to place on record its gratitude to Huddersfield Town club partner Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL), for making this provision possible by re-opening their Leeds Road Sports Complex.

We ask that you do not bring your child along if you or a member of your household is showing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Your child will need to wear weather appropriate clothing, which includes trainers or plastic studded boots. They should also come prepared with a packed lunch, drinks, shin pads and hand sanitiser.

If you would like more information on the holiday camps, please contact the Town Foundation’s Primary Stars Manager Ruby Marlow on ruby.marlow@htafcfoundation.com or 07741671073.
