The Huddersfield Town Foundation is delighted to announce details of its December Half Term Sports Camp at Leeds Road Sports Complex!

Taking place on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December, the multi-sport camp gives 5-12-year-old children the chance to start the Christmas Holidays with some physical activity.

Participants will be placed in a bubble with other children their age and take part in a number of sports including football, kwik cricket, dodgeball and tennis.

Each day starts at 9.30am with introductory games, before completing a range of activities before the day ends at 3.30pm.

Our camps are open to children of all abilities, whether they are confident and looking to develop their skills or are new to physical activity and require more of an introduction to sport.

Places cost £15 per day, with parents able to book their child for either day or both days depending on their needs – this can be done via our Eventbrite page here. No on the day registration will be permitted to enable us to remain within COVID-19 guidelines.

All Town Foundation coaches are FA qualified, Child Safeguarding and First Aid certified and fully DBS/CRB checked.

Participants will need to wear shin pads, footwear and clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor physical activity. They will also need to come prepared with a packed lunch and non- fizzy drinks for the day.

We aim to give the Tuesday offering a Christmas theme and would encourage youngsters to come dressed in festive wear – whether that be a Christmas jumper, reindeer ears, Santa suit or anything else!

Sessions will be delivered in line with all relevant Government and Health & Safety guidelines in regard to COVID-19.

We ask that you not bring your child along should they or anyone else in your household be displaying any COVID-19 related systems.
