Easter

EASTER HALF TERM DELIVERY DETAILS CONFIRMED!

Easter Half Term will see the Huddersfield Town Foundation deliver a mixture of virtual and in-person activities for local children, Government restrictions allowing.

The Foundation is proud to be working in partnership with Kirklees Council, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and the Department of Education’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme on this exciting initiative.

From Monday 29 March to Wednesday 31 March there will be a digital offering split into primary and secondary school age groups, with all sessions taking place on Zoom.

Primary aged sessions will include daily live PE and a healthy cook along, whilst secondary school children can look forward to workshops on public speaking, ball mastery and more.

To register your child’s interest in any of these sessions, please complete our online JotForm and you will be emailed the relevant joining links in due course. The virtual camp is completely free of charge.

During the second week of Half Term, from Wednesday 7 April to Friday 9 April, the Foundation will be running an in-person Multi-Sport Camp for 5-11 year olds at Leeds Road Sports Complex, HD2 1YY.

This will run from 9.30am-3.30pm each day, with the three-day offering costing £45.

Limited places will be available to book via Eventbrite; however, this will not be live until the morning of Tuesday 30 March.

That follows the Government update on Monday 29 March, in which we hope the current roadmap is adhered to and in-person delivery is allowed.

Should that not be the case, we shall revert to another virtual camp for the second week of half term.

If you would like to be contacted once the booking system is live, please email ruby.marlow@htafcfoundation.com and leave your details.

All Town Foundation Half Term activity is run by our team of FA qualified coaches, who are all Child Safeguarding and Emergency First Aid certified, in addition to being fully DBS checked.

In-person delivery will follow all necessary COVID-19 guidance, with participants being kept in bubbles, regular cleaning of equipment and social distancing adhered to where possible.

If you require any further information, please contact Head of Education and Community Activity Katie Suttron on katie.suttron@htafcfoundation.com or 07947 564 331 in the first instance.
