VACANCIES: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT AND NCS ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER

The Huddersfield Town Foundation is looking to add two people to its skilled team of staff!

We are excited to be recruiting a Financial Accountant, in which the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the ongoing success and sustainability of the organisation as it continues to grow.

This is a part-time role working closely with the Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

Candidates must have previous, proven experience in an accounting role in the charitable sector, incorporating ledger work and period end/year end processes.

ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, you will have excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, high-level numerical skills and outstanding attention to detail.

£35,000 per annum (reduced pro rata to £21,000 per annum in accordance with the part-time hours)

Three days/21 hours per week (to be agreed with the successful candidate)

Fixed-term for two years in the first instance

We are also looking to recruit an NCS Assistant Team Leader to support the delivery of the Summer 2021 NCS programme.

In this role the successful applicant can make a significant impact on the lives of young people between the ages of 15 and 17.

Applicants must be experienced in planning and organising group activities, have a good standard of general education and have the ability to engage and inspire young people.

Short-term contracts are available for a minimum of two and maximum of five weeks in the summer period in accordance with the dates below.

Programme 1

A two-week programme based locally within Kirklees

Start date: 05/07/2021 – 16/07/2021 (two weeks)

£770 gross pay for candidates age 23 or over

£720 gross pay for candidates under the age of 23

Programme 2

A three-week programme including a one-week residential at YHA Haworth, Keighley.

Start date: 26/07/2021 – 13/08/2021 (three weeks).

£1,250 gross pay for candidates age 23 or over

£1,190 gross pay for candidates under the age of 23
