Primary aged children and their families are invited to join the Huddersfield Town Foundation for a fun-filled day at the Utilita Football Festival!

Taking place at Leeds Road Sports Complex on Wednesday 27 October 2021, the event will feature a football tournament amongst other exciting activities.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet special guests from the Huddersfield Town men and women’s teams.

Arrival is from 9.30am, with free parking on site. From there, you will be welcomed by Town Foundation staff.

From 10am until 12pm there will be a football tournament for children in school years three and four, with year 5s and 6s competing between 1pm and 3pm.

Throughout the day parents can watch their children take on activities like a climbing wall, face painting, a speed shot challenge and football target practice.

Children do not have to attend as part of a grassroots team, they can come by themselves or with a sibling/friend. They must, however, be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Teams for the tournament will be put together on the day.

In addition, Utilita will be on site to showcase their energy and money saving tips. Other EFL partners in attendance will be confirmed in due course.

Every child will receive a medal, certificate and event t-shirt for taking part. There will also be an opportunity to collect autographs from the guests in attendance.

Players should wear clothing and footwear suitable for the time of year and a 3G playing surface. They should also bring plenty to drink and a packed lunch, or, alternatively, light refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.

As an Official Supporter of the EFL and Principal Partner of Huddersfield Town, Utilita are committed to engaging with the local community.

With that in mind, the Utilita Football Festival is free to attend. For Health and Safety purposes, parents are asked to register their child’s attendance via Eventbrite HERE.
