LOTTY LEEMING TO HOST FIZZ FRIDAY 2023

Huddersfield Town Foundation is delighted to announce that Charlotte Leeming will be hosting our Fizz Friday event that’s taking place on Friday 24 November.

Charlotte Leeming is an award-winning Television presenter, broadcaster and journalist. Often known to viewers as Lotty, she’s a trusted and friendly face across Yorkshire where she presented Look North for 20 years and worked on a huge variety of news stories.

With a love of live TV, she’s interviewed politicians, celebrities, sporting stars and ordinary people at the heart of extraordinary stories.

She now reports for the national BBC News and BBC Breakfast as well as working as a writer, podcaster and host.

Lotty is excited to be returning to our event next month after hosting last year’s afternoon of fundraising!

She said: “I’m so excited to be back hosting the fantastic Fizz Friday! It’s such a special event – which is not only loads of fun – but also raises money for a wide range of communities across Kirklees.

“It’s humbling and inspiring to see all the work being done by the foundation to provide people with brilliant opportunities to realise their full potential.

“If you haven’t got your ticket yet, what are you waiting for? Tell your friends and come along. I’ll see you on the dancefloor!”

The event will take place at the John Smith’s Stadium and will run during the daytime, with arrival taking place in the late morning, with pop-up shops on display. Guests will partake in fundraising games, raffles, and a silent auction.

Those attending will also be treated to the delightful sounds of the Motownella’s, who will add their own sprinkle of cheeky charm, glitz, glamour, and class and take you back to the time of that era to maintain all things Motown.

Floating about will also be the excellent magician Luke Lenihan, who will dazzle attendees with his exceptional tricks and illusions – look out on our social media for more magical videos with him!

Guests will also get the chance to hear directly from people who have benefited from the Foundation’s work, as well as the staff who have helped them throughout, showcasing the execution of the work that our donations have.

The funds raised will go towards the delivery of the Foundation’s Breakfast Clubs, which has helped to feed over 2.2 million children since its inception in 2012.

Tickets are priced at £65 per person, as well as an option for a table of 10 for £650, and can be purchased by contacting paula.earnshaw@htafcfoundation.com via email.

So, if you are a business looking for a celebration with your colleagues or a group of friends looking for a fantastic afternoon of fun, we hope to see you for another fabulous Fizz Friday!
