Huddersfield Town Foundation is thrilled to reveal that energy supplier Utilita are the official headline sponsors of our Fizz Friday event due to take place on Friday 24 November.

Specialising in saving households money on their electricity and gas, Utilita has once again shown its commitment to helping the community of Kirklees with the backing of our event.

Utilita are already significant supporters of Huddersfield Town being current front-of-shirt sponsors since 2021.

Recently they have extended their support through their official charity partner Utilita Giving to the Foundation. The Utilita Giving logo adorns this season’s Town’s Third Kit, and they have donated £2 for each third shirt sold to the Foundation.

“As a company, we are committed to supporting local charities who like us are focused on working to tackle food and fuel poverty.

“We know how great the Huddersfield Town Foundation Breakfast Clubs are in supporting the community of Kirklees and as a business we are looking to grow our footprint in the area.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a great event and we hope lots of funds will be raised to help them continue their work.”

The Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer Siobhan Atkinson added: “I’m delighted that we’ve secured a sponsor of the standing of Utilita for our annual Fizz Friday. Their support for our event is extremely generous. It’s a real highlight of our calendar and I’m excited to welcome both new and familiar faces back and to hopefully raise funds that will enable us to continue our much-needed work across Kirklees.”

The event, hosted by award-winning Television presenter, broadcaster and journalist Charlotte Leaming, will take place at the John Smith’s Stadium and will run during the daytime, with arrival taking place in the late morning, with pop-up shops on display. Guests will partake in fundraising games, raffles, and a silent auction.

Those attending will also be treated to the delightful sounds of the Motownella’s and the dazzling illusions and magic tricks from BGT Luke Lenihan!

Guests will also get the chance to hear directly from people who have benefited from the Foundation’s work, as well as the staff who have helped them throughout, showcasing the execution of the work that donations have supported.

The funds raised will go towards the delivery of the Foundation’s Breakfast Clubs, which has helped to feed over 2.2 million children since its inception in 2012.
