Here For You

Free urgent mental health support to anybody 16 years+

If you or someone you know is struggling to cope or may have thoughts of self-harm or suicide, you can contact us without the need for a GP or hospital referral and ask for support the same evening.

Open 3:30pm – 9pm every day of the year for phone calls, or you can reach out at any time or day on the website and the team will contact you back within 24 hours.

Night Owls

Confidential support line for children, young people, their parents and carers who live in Bradford, Leeds, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Barnsley.  We support young people up to the date of their 25th birthday.

West Yorkshire 24-hour mental health helpline

You can phone the West Yorkshire 24-hour mental health helpline by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option. It provides confidential support, advice and information to anyone over 18 who is concerned about their mental health or worried about a family member or someone they care for.

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust

24-hour access to mental health services. The foundation offers mental health, community, learning disability and wellbeing services across Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield and provide specialist secure mental health (forensic) services for the whole of Yorkshire and Humber.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

Provides NHS-funded mental health support for children and young people (typically under 18) who have more significant or complex mental health problems, or serious emotional or behavioural difficulties. Services are provided by diverse teams including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists, and can involve direct support, school-based teams, or collaboration with other health and local authorities.

Kirklees Keep in Mind

Mental health support team designed to help meet the mental health needs of children and young people in primary and secondary education. They provide mental health support across a number of schools in Kirklees providing extra capacity for early intervention and support for mild to moderate mental health issues.
