This policy reflects our commitment to meeting the requirements of the Premier League Equality Standards.
Huddersfield Town AFC fulfils the statutory requirements of the Equality Act 2010 in relation to different characteristics, including: age; disability; gender reassignment; marriage and civil partnership (including same-sex marriage); pregnancy and maternity; race; religion/belief; sexuality, and sex. We work hard to ensure that our staff and supporters demonstrate expected standards of behaviour, which are based on the principle of respect for others, and which relate to our zero-tolerance approach to abuse, discrimination and harassment.
Racial, homophobic/transphobic, sexist, ageist or other discriminatory language or behaviour is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from activities. Huddersfield Town AFC reserves the right to impose any other sanctions as appropriate/necessary.
We support the work of national organisations and associated campaigns, including â€˜Football vs Homophobiaâ€™, â€˜Kick it Outâ€™, â€˜Show Racism the Red Cardâ€™, â€˜Level Playing Fieldâ€™ and â€˜Stonewallâ€™s Rainbow Laces Campaignâ€™.
