Huddersfield Town Foundation is celebrating the successful completion of the Terrier Skydive on Friday 10 April, which saw nine brave supporters take to the skies in aid of the charity, raising more than £4,500 collectively.
The fundraising challenge took place at Black Knights Skydiving Centre in Lancaster, where the group completed a tandem skydive from thousands of feet in support of the Foundation’s work across Kirklees and the surrounding area. The event demonstrated the incredible commitment and generosity of the participants, who pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones for a cause close to their hearts.
The Terrier Skydive brought together individuals united by their passion for the Huddersfield Town Foundation and a shared desire to make a positive impact in their community. Funds raised will directly support the Foundation’s programmes across education, health, inclusion and youth engagement, helping to create opportunities and reduce inequalities for people of all ages.
The Foundation continues to use the power of OUR club to bring communities together, with fundraising initiatives like the Terrier Skydive playing a vital role in supporting inclusive projects that enable people across Kirklees to GROW, THRIVE and BELONG.
