Huddersfield Town Foundation is proud to announce that it will be the official charity partner of the Honley Show 2026, one of the region’s longest‑running and most celebrated agricultural events. Taking place on Saturday 27 June, the show will once again bring together families, farmers, local businesses and communities for a full day of entertainment, countryside heritage and rural tradition.
For more than a century, the Honley Show has been a key fixture in the Kirklees events calendar, attracting thousands of visitors each year. The 2026 event will continue that tradition, offering a diverse programme including livestock classes, trade stands, food and craft markets, countryside demonstrations and children’s activities.
This partnership provides the Foundation with an invaluable opportunity to connect with a broad and diverse audience, raising awareness of its work across education, health and inclusion while delivering engaging activities throughout the day. Visitors will be able to meet the Foundation team, learn about its community‑focused programmes and take part in family‑friendly fundraising activities designed to showcase the power of OUR club to make a lasting difference across OUR town.
The announcement reflects the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring people across Kirklees can GROW through learning and opportunity, BELONG through connection and shared experience, and THRIVE through improved wellbeing.

The show is a cornerstone of our local calendar and brings together communities from across Kirklees in a truly unique way. Partnering with an event so deeply rooted in local identity gives us a fantastic opportunity to share the work we do and to engage directly with families, supporters and residents. We are incredibly grateful to the Honley Show organisers for their support and look forward to being part of such a cherished event.”
Julia Brown, Marketing Manager at Honley Agricultural Show said:
“We are delighted to be working with Huddersfield Town Foundation as our official charity for 2026. We have a shared aim of giving back to the wider community in which we operate which makes this a really fitting match. As well as working with them before the day to promote our activities we are super excited about the entertainment and fun element that they will bring to show day itself.”
