The Huddersfield Town Foundation is delighted to announce that its Tinsel Town Christmas Carol Concert, held on Thursday 4 December at the Accu Stadium’s Riverside Club, raised an incredible £1,090.02 to support its vital work across Kirklees.
The festive event formed part of Huddersfield Town Football Club’s wider Tinsel Town Christmas campaign and brought together supporters, partners and members of the local community for an evening of music, celebration and giving back.
Guests were warmly welcomed with mince pies and a choice of mulled wine or hot chocolate before enjoying a performance from Terrier Brass, carols from Hope Huddersfield Band, a prize raffle and a surprise Q&A with Huddersfield Town Manager Lee Grant alongside players Herbie Kane and Marcus McGuane.
Funds raised will go a long way in helping the Foundation deliver its mission to ensure people in Kirklees can GROW through learning and opportunity, BELONG through connection and inclusion, and THRIVE through improved wellbeing.
