Huddersfield Town Foundation’s Chair of Trustees, Suzy Brain England OBE, commented:

“I could not be more proud to be at the helm of a Foundation that does so much for our communities through sport.

“I’m looking forward to helping the charity thrive and ensuring more football fans and Kirklees residents know about our charitable good works.”

Her connection to Huddersfield Town runs deep, with family members who are proud season ticket holders and a grandson who is a keen footballer himself.

Sam Dainty, CEO of the Huddersfield Town Foundation, added:

“The trustees ran a thorough recruitment process for the role and are delighted to welcome Suzy as our new Chair of Trustees.

“Her values, experience and passion for people make her a perfect fit to lead the Board at such an exciting time for the Foundation.”

Suzy’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment, as the Foundation delivers it's Our Town strategy, focused on helping people in Kirklees Grow, Thrive and Belong through the power of football and community.
