Wear Blue & White Day Returns on Friday 6 March 2026

24 Feb 2026

Huddersfield Town Foundation is delighted to announce the return of its annual Wear Blue & White Day fundraising campaign, taking place on Friday 6 March 2026.

This much‑loved initiative invites schools, nurseries, businesses and individuals across Kirklees to don their best blue and white attire to help raise vital funds for the Foundation’s community programmes. Whether it’s football shirts, creative costumes, face paint or workplace dress‑up, supporters are encouraged to get involved and show their colours in support of the Foundation’s mission.

All funds raised will directly support the Foundation’s work across education, health, sport and youth engagement – programmes that help local people GROW through learning and opportunity, BELONG through connection and inclusion, and THRIVE through improved wellbeing.
Last year alone, the Foundation delivered more than 7,000 hours in primary schools, provided over 650 meals on football camps, engaged over 3,400 participants, supported 1,600 people through health and wellbeing projects, and has now served more than three million breakfasts since 2012.

Wear Blue & White Day has become a key moment in the Foundation calendar, celebrating the power of community spirit while raising essential funds to ensure programmes remain accessible for people of all ages and backgrounds. Participants will also have access to the Foundation’s official fundraising pack, offering activity ideas, checklists and resources to help make their event a success.

Lucy Summerton, Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at Huddersfield Town Foundation, said:
“Wear Blue & White Day is a celebration of everything that makes our community special. It’s simple, fun and brings people together – but most importantly, every pound raised helps us change lives across Kirklees. Whether you’re a school, a business or an individual supporter, your involvement makes a real and lasting difference. We can’t wait to see classrooms, offices and communities turning blue and white this March.”

Founded in 2012, Huddersfield Town Foundation uses the power of OUR club to create opportunities, reduce inequalities and inspire lasting change for OUR community through the delivery of projects across Kirklees and the surrounding area.

The Foundation offers opportunities across education, health and youth engagement to deliver impactful, inclusive programmes that empower OUR TOWN to thrive.
