BREAKFAST CLUBS

BREAKFAST CLUBS

What is our Breakfast Clubs Programme?

Since our inception our flagship early kick off breakfast clubs have served over 2.5 million meals across 41 local schools. They ensure all children receive a nutritious start to their day of learning with a range of healthy, nutritious, and energy-providing items of food being consumed before school begins.

On an annual basis, it costs the Foundation £100,000 per year to fund its Breakfast Clubs. To sustain the Breakfast Clubs and keep fighting the issue of food poverty in our community, we are asking for fans and businesses to come together and support our work.

Your support is vital, and any donation that you can give will make a real difference in the Kirklees area.

  • "Some of the children who had breakfast at the club today normally have a real problem getting to school on time. Today our Learning Mentor didn't have to ring any of our families to find out why the children were not in school. A fabulous unexpected spin off."

Although we aren't currently taking anymore schools on board, your school can still support this important cause by getting involved in fundraising initiatives.

As mentioned, the running of Breakfast Clubs costs us over £100,000 a year. We rely on donations and fundraising to sustain such an important programme, so any donation small or large would be extremely helpful.

We are hosting our annual Wear Blue & White Day on Friday February 7th, with all proceeds going towards the Breakfast Clubs. Email help@htafcfoundation to find out how you can get involved.
