The Premier League Primary Stars programme uses the positive influence of the Premier League and professional football to engage both pupils and teachers across all subject areas.
Launched in 2017, and available to every primary school in England and Wales, Huddersfield Town Foundation is one of more than 100 professional football club community organisations across England and Wales delivering Premier League Primary Stars, supporting pupils in the classroom, the playground and on the sports field. More than 18 million children have benefited from the national
programme to date. Premier League Primary Stars enables teachers to use resources across English, PSHE, PE and Maths, to support children to develop skills and values that are crucial to success in later life.
Huddersfield Town Foundation began its Premier League Primary Stars delivery in 2017 and since then has supported thousands of pupils and teachers in over 30 schools.
Available to primary schools across Kirklees, Wakefield, and Calderdale, the programme inspires children aged five to 11 to learn, be active and develop important life skills, in the classroom, the playground, and on the sports field. Teaching resources cover subjects from English, Maths, PE, and PSHE, with free curriculum-linked worksheets and lesson plans.
All of our coaches either hold or are working towards their AfPE Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Physical Education. All lesson plans and resources are designed in line with the National Curriculum and in conjunction with professionals such as qualified teachers and authors.
